About the Event
AUGUST 28 MEET UP The next Stumptown Stroke is Sunday, August 28 at Catalyst. This will likely be a smaller group than we've had recently as we are requiring monkeypox as well as covid vaccination to attend.
CODE OF CONDUCT This is a jack off-only event and we ask that you read the Stumptown Strokes Code of Conduct prior to attending.
TICKETS Click the RSVP button above to get your ticket. We will send an email reminder with all information on Saturday afternoon. Please cancel by Saturday so we can offer your spot to someone else.
CHECK IN The check is open from 4:00 to 4:30. At 4.30 sharp the doors will be locked. Undress in the entry room and stash your clothes in your own bag or backpack. We will have a limited number of paper grocery bags available if you forget a bag. We do not have a clothes check so please leave valuables at home as we can not be responsible for your belongings.
COVID Catalyst requires that all guests be fully vaccinated as per CDC guidelines for their age and health. Please bring proof of vaccination and a state issued ID to the event for check-in. Masks are not required although they are not discouraged in any way, shape, or form.
MONKEYPOX If you were vaccinated in Multnomah County you can access your health record at the Multco Health Authority Website. You will need to register if you haven't already, and this process can take about a week. The easiest way to create your own proof of vaccination is to click on the "VISITS" tab on the top left of the entry page, then find the date that you were vaccinated. Click on the "AFTER VISIT SUMMARY". Print the first page and bring it with you! Click here to see the Example page
All this being said please do not attend if you've been exposed or if you have any symptoms. The monkeypox vaccine offers a great deal of protection but like many things in life is not a guarantee! We're hoping that if all of us are vigilant that we can continue to meet with these extra precautions.
Symptoms of monkeypox can include:
- Fever
- Headache
- Muscle aches and backache
- Swollen lymph nodes
- Chills
- Exhaustion
- A rash that can look like pimples or blisters that appears on the face, inside the mouth, and on other parts of the body, like the hands, feet, chest, genitals, or anus.

VENUE The Catalyst location is at 1006 SE Grand. Enter from the parking lot between the Arcoa Building and the 7-11. There is parking available, but do not use the SalonCentric spaces. The rest of the parking lot is available. Check in at the light blue gate in the parking lot. NOTE: the bathroom is down the hall in a semi-public space. It's unlikely anyone will be around except for us on Sundays, but please grab a robe from the front room, or get dressed before leaving the event space for the restroom just in case.
POST MEETING FOOD AND DRINK After the event, everyone is welcome to go to Lucky Lab 915 SE Hawthorne Blvd for no host food and drink. Head over there and join us for more social time. Grab a larger table (outside if weather permits) if you can. Hope to see you at the August 28 Stumptown Stroke!
