January 2026
Happy New Year, friends!
Welcome to 2026! Things are changing with Stumptown but not our commitment to delivering hot times for guys to get together and stroke! Please take a quick look at what's in store for 2026. We have three events this month. Second Sunday to celebrate our 7th anniversary, the Fourth Sunday, and last Wednesday. We're also going to be getting our very own dedicated gathering place soon. This opens up some exciting opportunities to have a space arranged in a way that better fits a stroke club. Some details below.

The big news is that Asylum Under-ground, our event space for the past few years is closing at the end of January. We are in the process of figuring out where exactly Stumptown will end up, but rest assured that we have some excellent prospects for a new home and are excited about getting our very own dedicated space, as well as ever so slightly intimidated by the idea of taking on the extra financial burden. In preparation for the financial part we are experimenting with a new tiered pricing structure a month in advance to set aside for first & last month rent plus deposit. The tiers include the same $15 entry fee for students, retirees, and others on fixed or low incomes, and $20 which is roughly what we'd need to charge to make Stumptown sustainable. For those that can there's also the option of contributing $25 or $30 per event to cover those less able to pay and to ensure we get to maintain our own location and the longevity of Stumptown. We hope you understand the reasoning behind the change, and that you're as excited as we are to begin this new chapter!

It's funny to think that on January 13, 2019 we launched our very first Stumptown Strokes event with about 20 guys, and now all these years later we're hosting on average 2-4 events per month with closer to 50 in attendance. The first post-event dinner & happy hours had about 6, and now they can be closer to 15-20. We're pretty thrilled about the community of folks that we've connected with over the course of 100+ jo events, and can't wait to see what we all can do with our own headquarters! Thanks a million for cumming along with us!

JO-ONLY CODE OF CONDUCT AND CONSENT
These are JO-only events and we require that you read and agree to the Stumptown Strokes Code of Conduct prior to attending. You must be at least 18 to attend.
Hot talk in the play space is great, but please take any other conversations out to the changing area.
No one visibly intoxicated will be admitted. Enjoy Stumptown sober, and join us for a drink (if so inclined) and food after the Sunday events!
And remember: consent is key. Get permission (verbal or non-verbal) before touching someone, and nothing goes inside anyone's anything EVER! Well, not including making out with your buddy, but you know what we mean.
EVENT TICKETS
Click the link above to get your Stumptown ticket. Reduced event tickets are only $15 each, Standard tickets $20 (covering basic expenses), and for those who are able to contribute more: Benefactor at $25 and Superstroke at $30. We will send an email reminder to ticket holders the day before the event. No need to print your ticket as your name will be on the list. Hot info: the ticket link will always take you to the current month of events!
AT THE SPACE
It’s required that guys at our events take off all their clothes upon entry, which keeps it fun for everyone. So let it all hang out – whatever your body type. Wear shoes or socks if you like, but from the ankles up we'll all be the same! We do not have a clothes check but you can store your clothes in a locker (bring a padlock). We cannot be responsible for your belongings so please leave valuables at home.
POST EVENT FOOD AND DRINK
After the Sunday events, everyone is encouraged to go to Lucky Lab 915 SE Hawthorne Blvd for no host food and drink. Head over there and join us. This is a great way to get to know the folks that you just met! Grab a larger table (outside if weather permits) if you're the first to arrive.
HEALTH PRECAUTIONS & CANCELATIONS
Stay home if you aren't feeling well or showing any signs of illness. Please send us an email at info@stumptownstrokes.com at least 24 hours before the event if you need to cancel. With 24 hour notice we're happy to 1: refund your money, 2: move your spot to another event within in the current month (based on availability), or 3: gratefully accept your donation to the mission. We can't do refunds with less than 24 hours notice.
BATOR BALM
Anyone who's visited Stumptown Strokes knows the beauty of unscented Bator Balm, and now you can also order an XL tub of your very own directly from us and pick it up at Stumptown! This stuff is truly the best, and made by the cool folks at Bator Balm.
Hope to see you at Stumptown Strokes!
